Newborns

Thank you for considering Julie Martin Photography to capture your newborn’s first portraits! I find the best time to capture a newborn's photos are when they are about 10-15 days old. They have established a good schedule at that point and mom is a little more rested. The baby tends to sleep, eat and are easy posed. Please contact me as soon as you decide to have me photograph your baby, so I can get you on the schedule. I like to keep the studio nice and warm during babies session, so they are comfy and sleep well. I try to keep a nature, timeless look when photographing newborns. We will first discuss what you are after in your session. We will discuss anything you want included as far as props, colors, etc. I typically don’t have you bring in a lot of props, I have a huge assortment of outfits, wraps, backdrops and addition props. But if there is something special you would like incorporated into the session please feel free to bring it. After we discuss details and before the session I will style your newborns session. If you would like to have parents and/or siblings included into the session please let me know! It is only once that your baby is this little so I encourage parent and sibling pictures. Each newborn session is unique. I will try to get as many poses as the baby will tolerate. Please be patient and take this time to sit back and relax. Newborns are on there own schedule sometimes it goes fast and sometimes they take a little more patience and time. Please refer to Newborn pricing to view collections and get more details.

Your wedding day

Based on the redetermined time, we will show up to photograph the bride and groom as they are getting ready in their separate location. We will photograph the details of the day, the emotions, the behind the scenes preparations. We will then photograph the poses photos, first looks, and the emotions leading up to the ceremony. While getting these photos, we also get the guests, the hugs and the love of family and friends getting together to celebrate your day!! Next we will photograph your ceremony from two different angles, (if you chose the 2nd shooter option) capturing the special moments as you become man and wife.
